Pasquale D’Orlando to Oversee European Market Development and Customer Acquisition

Mr. Pasquale D’Orlando, General Manager & Director of Sales for Curtis Italy, is taking on an expanded role in European markets. In the newly created position of Director of Market Development and Customer Acquisition, D’Orlando will be a leader and champion for Curtis sales in Europe, responsible for coordinating increased pipeline opportunities, acquiring new customers and building market share in strategically important new market segments across the European region.

He joined Curtis more than 25 years ago, advancing through the ranks with the company in progressively responsible positions, initially as Customer Support Engineering Manager. He was first promoted to the position of Sales & Product Support Manager and then appointed as Sales Director, a role he held for 5 years. In 2009, he took on broader managerial responsibilities as General Manager and Director of Sales for Curtis Italy and areas of southern Europe.

Mr. D’Orlando will also remain as General Manager and Director of Sales for Curtis Italy.

Following the COVID-19 epidemic, CURTIS decided to maintain its sales administration and logistics activities from France, Germany and England (order entry, shipment and receipt of goods) with limited staff, in strict compliance with the safety and protection instructions of our employees.

The sales administration and logistics service is on call at the office Monday to Thursday from 8.40 am to 5.30 pm.

The other services are available from Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., as follows:

• The technical and commercial teams are available by mobile phone or by email and videoconference (Microsoft Team, Skype, WebEx) but interventions and customer visits are suspended until further notice.• The accounting team is available by email. We invite you to favor bank transfers for your payments.

The company is closed on Fridays until further notice.

The productions are maintained in 2 of our 3 factories.

We thank you for your understanding and patience regarding possible delays in deliveries that may occur. Indeed, the time of reception of the goods increases appreciably.

ISO 14001 : 2015

We offer electronic products, applicable to electrical equipment and thus non-polluting. Curtis Instruments Group is ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001: 2004.

Our French subsidiary, Curtis Instruments SAS is committed to turn the ISO 14001 : 2004 certification and obtained its first certification in 2008. Curtis France had now obtained his certificate in version 2015.

Environmental Manager within the company is the person in charge of environmental management. To do here actions:

- Regulatory compliance of the body. - The principle of continuous improvement. - The prevention of pollution.

Main challenges are to "ensure the sustainability of the company by integrating environment as a strategic factor of development."

ISO 14001 : 2015 certification impacts three objectives: customer satisfaction requirements / meeting the requirements of the group / in-house projects.

It is necessary and important to take an inventory of the environmental situation to propose objectives and clarify the guidelines of the company policy.

Curtis team is proud and committed to this approach to environmental. We also wish to clarify that this standard is applicable to all types of businesses. We encourage professionals to develop their services in an environmental management policy.

Screen_Shot_2017-05-03_at_2.19.36_PM.pngAccording to our iso 14001 : 2015 approach, we decided to balance CO² emission of the 4 company’s cars for year 2016 by buying wish cards to Reforest’Action with option 1 card = 1 tree to plant for the receiver.

We will certainly repeat this operation next year and we rely on our customers to support us by planting their tree when receiving their card.
